Join us for music of Debussy and Beethoven performed by Finnish pianist Paavali Jumppanen at Portland State University’s Lincoln Hall; with free preconcert lectures at 3:15 p.m. each day. Known for his expertise in contemporary classical music, this program highlights his finesse in beloved, classic repertoire.

In Finland, it’s Vappu; in Sweden it’s Valborg; and in Germany, it’s Walpurgisnacht. Regardless of what you call it, April 30 is a day of celebration in the Nordic countries and Europe, and we hope you will join us for our own mini-celebration on the grounds at Fogelbo for food, drink and good company.

Please come out to Fogelbo for complimentary hot dogs, sima, doughnuts, coffee, and good company. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Please bring potluck items to share.
